Policies & Terms of Service

Cancellation policy

We kindly stress that if you need to cancel your appointment to give us notice within 24 hours. Our contact information is listed below in the footer. Failure to comply will result in a $50 cancellation fee for the first offense. Repeated offenses will result in being charged for the full session OR having 1 session deducted from your plan of care.

Why this policy?

Imagine coming into work on your regular scheduled day. Your boss greets you and tells you, sorry but you don't have any work to do today and you will not receive any money for that day. We rely on our scheduled appointments to pay the bills. If you cancel at the last minute, it is hard to fill that time slot in a last minute notice.

Booking a service

To save time, we require services being requested in advance. We use Square to take payments in person. You may be asked to leave a card at check out, but that is for cancellation fees being applied to your account. You will receive an invoice after the session stating what was done. After booking online, your appointment should be all setup! E-mail us at info@upliftwellness.org for any specific questions you may have.

What should I expect after scheduling a service?

Massage Therapy we book through ClinicSense, which is a HIPAA-compliant service. All of the health information that you give us, from filling out the intake form to what you tell us in a session, is confidential.

Recover and Renew sessions may have an expedited intake and assessment process to get some more information verbally about why you are coming to us.

Mobilize and Adapt sessions spend more time during the assessment process. First time sessions with this option are done in 90 minute time slots to allow for more time during the assessment process, as well as to fit in treatment time.

For both sessions, please bring active wear to change into for the session. Here at Uplift, we seldom use sheets and do most of our work straight on the table, so it is important to come dressed appropriately. This does not take away from the massage in any way, and in fact helps us work more freely. If you are expecting any lower extremity work, please try and wear shorts, if comfortable.

For Event Massage, we will require more coordination about the nature of the event.
